Cornelia Stoppkotte is a European and German patent attorney with more than more than 20 years of experience in intellectual property. She supports the Life Science team, especially in preparing freedom-to-operate analyses in the fields of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
Cornelia received her PhD in chemistry with a focus on protein biochemistry from the Biozentrum of the University of Basel, Switzerland, after having studied biology and chemistry at the Universities of Bonn and Freiburg. Subsequently, she began her training as a German Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney and obtained both qualifications in 1998. She worked for Wuesthoff & Wuesthoff for many years, is now a patent attorney with her own practice in Potsdam, Germany, and supports the Life Science team as a freelancer.
