Dr. Zheng’s practice focuses on the prosecution of patent applications as well as opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office (EPO). Due to her background, she also advises Chinese clients on all aspects of intellectual property. Her technical expertise spans chemistry, pharmaceutics, materials science, and medical technology.

Dr. Zheng studied Materials Science and Engineering, specializing in polymer science, and holds a PhD from Beijing University of Chemical Technology. During her doctoral research, she worked as a visiting scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (MPIP) in Germany. She further complements her technical expertise with an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC).

Since 2025, she has supported the Chemistry/Pharma group of Wuesthoff & Wuesthoff; before that, she already worked at leading IP law firms in Beijing and Munich, where she qualified as both a Chinese and a European patent attorney.
